It’s kind of strange that the Game Gear failed where Game Boy succeeded. While the Game Boy was a black and green portable NES, the Game Gear was a fully colored portable Genesis. Sure it took several thousand batteries to run and weighed more than a lead brick, but… it was a lot more expensive than the Game Boy… but… the game’s pretty much all sucked…
You know what?!? Sega tried! They tried really hard! And that’s gotta be worth something!… I guess…
So I found my old Game Gear and few games with it: Disney’s The Jungle Book, World Series Baseball, Deep Duck Trouble, and Sonic Triple Trouble. None of these games are exactly classics. And I really have never heard about a “good” game being released on the Game Gear, I’m not sure if there even are any. But there has to be at least one gem out there, right?
