The President has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president? That is the premise of Bad Dudes. A recreation of the arcade game by the same name, Bad Dudes is a bad game. They try to play off the success of classics like Double Dragon, but the game comes off as shallow and uninteresting as the story.
Sloppy control, an awkwardly told story, unimaginative characters, and a ton of shittiness thrown in for good measure make a pretty dull game. While lines like “Kidnapped by Ninjas” have become gaming memes over the years, its not because the game was good. And it sure as hell doesn’t match up to “RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!”.
